Aldermore

Online banking company Aldermore required some hero characters for an internal email campaign on cyber security awareness to ensure all their staff apply best practice when it comes to information security, financial crime and data protection/governance.

Characters


Owl (being cyber wise)

The first character, the wise owl was to represent being ‘cyber wise’.

The idea was to come up with a quirky series of illustrations that were on brand with Aldermore’s primary colours. The style follows their look of combining line, sketch drawings with real imagery.


Ninja (Defending against cyber attacks)

The second character, the ninja represents defending against cyber attacks.

The idea for both hero characters was to create emoji style illustrations that show different expresions and add something playful to a dry subject like cyber security.
